Children in Year 6 sit SATS tests each school year, Year 1 have a phonics screening assessment and Year 4 have a Multiplication test. The Year 6 SATS tests are in Reading, Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling and Maths. Writing is assessed by the class teachers. If you were unable to attend the parents meeting at the start of the year and require more information about the SATS tests or phonics screening please speak to your child's class teacher.
