We would like to wish you a very warm welcome from our Early Years team.
Here at Oasis Academy Harpur Mount, we understand the importance of your child having the best start in their education, and we work hard as a whole team around your child to make this happen. Working in partnership with you, your child will be guided through their emotional, social and physical development preparing them for primary school, in a play-led exciting environment.
The atmosphere in early years is happy, calm and purposeful...The curriculum is stimulating, with a good range of enrichment opportunities, to provide children with experiences of the wider world.

Intake and session timing
Here at Oasis Academy Harpur Mount we offer free full-time places in our Nursery. We have 3 intakes within the year where your child can start their nursery journey; September, Easter and January. Your child can start Nursery the term after their 3rd birthday.
Our full-time nursery provision starts at 8:50am and finishes at 3:10pm. We also have a breakfast club which starts at 7:30am, costing £2 a day. Further details about breakfast club can be found on our breakfast club page.
We ask that you are prompt with timings and ensure your child is dropped off and collected on time.
If you are running late or have a problem, do get in touch with us as soon as you can by telephone and we will do our best to support you.
The children start at the Academy on a gradual admission process, which enables staff to really support them to make relationships and helps them to learn the new routines and expectations with us. We value every child for their individuality and know that each child will settle into the Academy in their own way, so we will work closely together with you and your child to ensure a smooth transition. Staffing
Our Early Years is run by a team of dedicated and experienced staff and is led by our Assistant Principal for Early Years:
Mrs Laura Woodall, who oversees both our Nursery and Reception classes. The Nursery staff consists of a teacher and two teaching assistants. Find out more and meet the team today!
