Fire Engine Visit to the Nursery

To make our Nursery learning even more exciting during our topic People Who Help Us, we were lucky enough to have real firefighters visit us!

They brought their fire engine for the children to explore, and the excitement on their faces was priceless. The children were able to climb inside the fire engine, look around at all the different tools and equipment, and learn what everything is used for.

The best part was having a go with the fire hose to put out some pretend fires! They absolutely loved it and had the best time experiencing what firefighters do to keep us safe.

We’re so grateful for the visit, and our Nursery children haven’t stopped talking about it we really do have the best little firefighters!
